The Lifestyle Chose Me & Not One Day I am Disappointed About it.

Tell us a little about yourself and why you decided to make a change to your health? I am 47 years old, and to be honest I did not make the choice, due to a trauma experience that I had in March the lifestyle chose me, and not one day I am disappointed about it.

What goals did you achieve since adding fasting into your life?

I am healthier and 30 kg lighter than I was at the beginning of the year, have way more energy and no more sore joints and my constant headaches is significantly less.

When it comes to fasting, what are your top recommendations?

  1. Do your homework on what kind fasting will work for you It is hard in the beginning to get your mind around not eating for some hours but find something to keep yourself busy within your fasting period.

  2. Make sure your mind set is right before you start your journey, you have to envision the end result in order to start walking, take one day at a time, if you fall off start over again don’t quit!

What is your favorite healthy food to eat? What is the recipe?

Avo and pork chops – the best way for me is to take a small plate and the food that fits into it is what I eat, no second helpings allowed.

Green smoothie ( Baby spinach, pineapple, celery and chia seeds blended together) refreshing and very fulfilling for when you are on the run.

How did you manage to integrate this healthy lifestyle into your life?

Surprisingly with great ease, as I am busy in working hours it food doesn’t occupy my mind during the day, so I break, fast around 1 in the afternoon with a fruit of my choice, no snacking in between and will have my last meal at 18:00 at night and then my fast start again from there on.

What motivates you to continue with this lifestyle?

The feel good feeling that I get when I get on the scale and see that I am almost at the weight I had in high school.

What is your best piece of advice for those just starting to fast?

Be kind to yourself, let your body lead you in the journey be brave it is not easy, but you don’t have to climb the whole staircase, you only have to take on the first stair, you will get to the top.

Anything else you would like to share?

This lifestyle have changed my life and I will never use anything else, I have tried ever last diet that was available on the market and this was the only lifestyle that is sustainable and worth the journey!
